Rosie has the latest news on where NJ chefs are manning the stoves.

CHEFS ON THE MOVE

Eric Basulto is the executive chef at Zylo, W Hotel, 255 River Street, Hoboken. After graduating from New York Restaurant School in 1994, Basulto worked as a sous chef at Patria where he collaborated with Douglas Rodriguez on menu development. He then joined China Grill in Miami, where he was ultimately named Executive Sous Chef. Chef Basulto achieved Corporate Chef for Asia de Cuba (NY, LA, and London and also gained experience as Executive Chef for Casa de Campo, (the Dominican Republic’s only five-star resort) preparing globally inspired cuisine and more recently as Executive Chef with Restaurant Associates/
Patina Group.

Dan Sullivan
is the executive chef at the Angry Coffee Bean, a coffee shop and café at 89 Ridge Road, Arlington (201-772-5554); BYO. Dan is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education and has worked for Dinosaur BBQ, and Marc Murphy’s Landmarc in NYC.

Daniel Stivala is the new executive chef at Mcloone’s Boathouse, 9 Cherry Lane, West Orange (862- 252-7108).

Michael Weisshaupt
is the new executive chef at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, 811 Rattlesnake Bridge Road, Bedminster Township. Chef Weisshaupt was previously the executive chef at Crystal Springs Resort in Hardyston.
