A Taste of Talent: Dining by Design will be held at Perona Farms, 350 Andover-Sparta Rd (Route 517), Andover, on behalf of Project Self-Sufficiency, a private nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income families in northwestern New Jersey. Patrons will sample hors d’oeuvres, entrées, and desserts from 30 area restaurants while bidding on creations by local interior design firms. 6:30 PM; individual tickets $200. Red Bank Flavour and the Two River Theater will present “Broadway in Red Bank” at the Two River Theater, 21 Bridge Ave, Red Bank, to benefit Red Bank Flavour, the Two River Theater’s Fund for New Work, and the Count Basie Theatre. The event will include cuisine from Red Bank restaurants and a cabaret performance featuring Broadway’s rising stars. 6 PM; tickets range in price from $75 to $200 are on sale now at www.trtc.org. The $75 and $100 tickets include a pre-show reception in the Two River Theater lobby and a food tasting. The $150 and $200 tickets include an exclusive pre-show reception in Two River’s Marion Huber Theater from 6 to 7:30 PM; vodka, champagne, and wine tastings; passed hors d’oeuvres; premier seating in the Rechnitz Theater; and a meet-and-greet with the artists.

“Yappy Hour” will be held on the garden patio at the Stockton Inn, 1 Main St, Stockton, to benefit the Animal Alliance, a shelter and rescue center. Ten percent of all food and cocktails purchased will be donated to the Animal Alliance. A wine-themed art show, “The Intersection of Art and Wine,” will be held at GAS Gallery and Studio, 411 Ridgewood Rd, Maplewood, from April 3 through May 5, featuring local artists who have done wine-themed original artwork and wine industry professionals with art backgrounds. On April 14, there will be a panel discussion and wine tasting from 3 to 7 PM with the participating artists and Hank Zona, host of The Grapes Unwrapped on SOMAtv and owner of Swirl Wine Events (http://swirlwineevents.com/wordpress).
