Chef André de Waal from André’s Restaurant in Newton will be presenting a six-course meal including sushi, sashimi, and Japanese-inspired dishes at Salt Studio, 109 Rt 206, Andover. A mix of traditional and nontraditional dishes will be presented using local and imported ingredients. Seats will be sold on the half hour between 5:30 and 7:30; $75 with an optional beverage pairing for $30, including cocktails, beer, and sake; tax and gratuity are extra. A three-course murder-mystery dinner, “A Very Noir Pinot or Sour Grapes,” by local playwright Jeanne-Andree Nelson, will be held at the Palm Restaurant, 2801 Pacific Ave, Quarter at Tropicana Casino and Resort, Atlantic City. 5:30 PM; $75 plus beverage, tax, and service charge.
