SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 & SUNDAY, AUGUST 19

A Shore chef Crab-Cake Cook-Off will be held at Monmouth Park Racetrack, (Oceanport Ave, Oceanport) with chefs competing for the Best Crab-Cake Award and the People’s Choice Award. Tastings from local restaurants will include crab cakes, fried catfish, and clam-chowder bread bowls. Food prices range from $5 to $15; noon to 5 pm.

Bellview Winery (150 Atlantic St, Landisville) will hold their annual Seafood Festival from 11 am to 5 pm, featuring seafood from local vendors, BBQ, Bellview’s wines, and live music. Saturday’s festivities feature an American Car Show from 11 am to 3 pm (rain date is Sunday). Admission for the Seafood Festival and American Car Show is $10 and includes wine tasting, car show, music and a souvenir Bellview wine glass. On-site parking is free. TUESDAY, AUGUST 21
A wine class, “Exploring Spain,” will be held at 55 Main Restaurant (55 Main St, Flemington) taught by George Staikos, a wine educator, sommelier, and corporate speaker.
