CHEFS ON THE MOVE

Charlie Bernardo, previously from Ciao in Basking Ridge, is the general manager at Urban Table, 665 Martinsville Road, Basking Ridge (908-647-6007).

Jamie Knott and David Madison have taken ownership of the Saddle River Inn, 2 Barnstable Court, Saddle River (201-825-4016), which will be open for dinner starting January 19. The restaurant has been remodeled and the menu will gradually be changed to reflect chef Knott’s creations. Previously chef Knott was the executive chef of Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro in Manhattan. He opened Fascino in Montclair with chef Ryan DePersio. General manager Madison was GM of Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Spice Market in Manhattan and Striped Bass in Philadelphia. He also opened locations of Craft restaurants for Tom Colicchio.

Will Prunty, previously from Ciao in Basking Ridge, is the chef at Urban Table, 665 Martinsville Road, Basking Ridge (908-647-6007).
