FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8
Kings Food Markets in Morristown (191 South St) is hosting a weekend-long holiday tasting. Shoppers at the event can taste their way through the store at signature samplings and exclusive cooking demonstrations. Samples— from dinner to dessert—will include Jersey fresh tomato sauce, shrimp scampi, cous cous, Kings pumpkin pie and salted-chocolate caramel tarts. The first 250 attendees will receive a special gift from Enjou Chocolate (Morristown). On friday, nutritionist Shari Bilt Bookvar, MS, RD will be offering complimentary consultations. A portion of sales from the three-day event will be made to the four local charities in support of Kings Act Against Hunger: Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris, Homeless Solutions, Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown and the Salvation Army of Morristown.
