An International Taste of the Town will be held at Renault Winery, 72 N Bremen Ave, Egg Harbor City, hosted by the Greater Egg Harbor City Chamber of Commerce. Red Bank International Flavour Festival will be held at the White Street Parking Lot, Red Bank. This event will feature international food, beer, wine and music. To drink or not to drink, that is the dispute between saloonkeeper Patrick Collins and Jennie Wales, staunch advocate of the temperance movement. THURSDAY, MAY 2
A Chef’s Gala will be held at Alpine Country Club, 80 Anderson Ave, Demarest with guest of honor chef Thomas Keller to benefit Table to Table. Slow Food Central New Jersey and Elijah’s Promise of New Brunswick are holding their second annual Eat Local Meet Local potluck dinner at Promise Culinary School, 211 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish made of local food (if possible).
