On July 8, a Soft Shell Crab Extravaganza will be held at the James Beard House, 167 W 12th St, NY with Maritime Parc executive chef/owner Chris Siversen and pastry chef Elizabeth Katz. The following menu will be presented:

Hors d’oeuvres: Soft shell crab summer rolls; panzanella napoleons with tomatoes; watermelon, goat’s milk mozzarella, and Ibérico ham; summer vegetable bruschetta with herb–caper vinaigrette; and smoked-potato soup with oysters and caviar
