Bryan Gregg, chef/owner of Escape, 345 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, will be partnering with Anthony Bucco, executive chef of The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station to jointly host a five-course, Best of the New Jersey Seashore wine-paired dinner at Escape. 7PM; $95 (50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to cancer research and treatment in New Jersey. Stock up on the local, sustainably produced foods from farmers and artisanal food makers at the Slow Food Northern NJ’s 6th Annual Local Harvest: Farms, Food, and Family, which will be held at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 353 E Hanover Ave, Morris Township. FRIDAY, JANUARY 24

The Ultimate Super Tailgate Tasting will be held at Dolce, 300 N Maple Ave, Basking Ridge, featuring more than 25 chefs and restaurants, wine, beer and spirits to benefit Heartworks, a nonprofit Acts of Kindness group created in response to the tremendous kindness that sustained so many families in the months and years following September 11, 2001. SATURDAY, JANUARY 25

A Winter Beer Fest will be held at High Street Grill, 64 High St, Mount Holly, with over 40 craft beers from over 20 different breweries for attendees to sample along with food.
