If you are unsure of what wines to serve on the upcoming holiday, a Thanksgiving Wine class with author Jason Wilson may help. Wilson penned Boozehound: On the Trail of the Rare, the Obscure, and the Overrated in Spirits as well as creating the digital wine series, Planet of the Grapes. BIG TEN BRUNCH AT THE FROG AND THE PEACH IN NEW BRUNSWICK

On the days of the Big Ten home games at Rutgers (November 1 and 2 and November 15 and 16), brunch is being served at The Frog and the Peach, 29 Dennis St, New Brunswick, beginning at 11:30 AM. Menu items include: grilled crostini with burrata, strawberry and aged balsamic; yogurt with fruit and almond granola; grilled chicken breast with spinach, tomato, and truffle aioli; tamarind-glazed pulled duck with hot cherry peppers on a warm baguette with Napa cabbage and yucca fries; coddled eggs with maple bacon and house-baked rye bread; and shrimp and grits. $30 for two courses includes coffee or tea. HARVEST FOOD TRUCK AND WINE FESTIVAL

Alba Vineyard, 269 Rt 627, Village of Finesville, Milford will host a Harvest Food Truck and Wine Festival featuring live music and cuisine from Food truck participants include: The Cow and The Curd; Aroy-D Thai Elephant; Empanada Guy; The French Quarter; Oink and Moo BBQ; Waffle De Lys; The Outslider; and Sanducci’s Pizza. Admission includes entrance to the event, parking, and music; food prices vary by truck. Noon to 5 PM; $10 for adults 21 and over, $5 for ages 13 to 20, and children 12 and under are free. Wine tastings are available for an additional $10 per person, 21 and older, which includes eight samplings of their wines in an etched Alba Vineyard wine glass. Reservations are not required.
