On Fridays, Rosie serves a mixed stew of NJ food and dining information. Today, read about Andy Clurfeld, longtime wine and restaurant reviewer for the Asbury Park Press, who has also written for Gourmet, Saveur and Town & Country, and is now offering free wine tasting classes.

FREE WINE CLASSES WITH ANDY CLURFELD
Andy Clurfeld, longtime wine and restaurant reviewer for the Asbury Park Press, who has also written for Gourmet, Saveur and Town & Country magazines, as well as for numerous websites, offers free wine tasting classes. Here are the deets:

The classes, which are free of charge, are held Thursdays from 5 to 8 PM at the Wine Academy’s flagship store at 2996 Route 35 S, Hazlet. Four wines are poured during each class. Attendees can come in and complete that night’s lesson in 10 minutes or stay longer and chat with Andy and fellow classmates. No registration is required.
