Openings and Closings

After a partial opening in October, Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen in Morristown, launches its fine dining space. Plus, read about other New Jersey restaurant openings and closings.

JOCKEY HOLLW BAR & KITCHEN
All the venues at Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen, the 1917 Vail Mansion at 110 South St, Morristown, are now open. The Oyster & Wine Bar and The Vail Bar opened in October. The Rathskeller launched in November as private event space and for a la carte dining when needed, and now the upstairs fine dining area called The Dining Room at Jockey Hollow is serving guests. The pre-fixe menu offers four courses for $72 (wine pairing $55, reserve $85) and six courses for $108 (wine pairing $70, reserve $105). The menu, which will change daily based on seasonal ingredients, is divided into four sections: The Sea, The Garden, The Pasture and The Sweets. Kevin Sippel is the executive chef. OTHER OPENINGS
Caffebene, called the “Starbucks of South Korea” has opened at 1 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, offering specialty coffee drinks, Belgian waffles, hot and cold bubble teas and much more.

Let Them Eat Cake Boutique Bake Shop previously in Ewing is now known as The Gingered Peach and has moved to a new location at 2 Gordon Ave, Lawrenceville (609-896-5848).
