NJ STAR CHEFS AT TABLE TO TABLE EVENT: BLACK TIE & ORANGE CLOGS OPTIONAL
On April 30, Table to Table will have its black-tie Chefs Gala at the Pleasantdale Chateau, 757 Eagle Rock Ave, West Orange, with guest of honor Mario Batali. Participating chefs include Chris Albrecht (Eno Terra); Massimo Carbone (Brio); George Georgiades (Varka Estiatorio); Raffaele Ronca (Ristortante Rafele); Peter Kelly (Xaviars Restaurant Group) and Robert Albers (Pleasantdale Chateau). Celebrity auctioneer and Antiques Roadshow regular Nicholas Lowry of New York City’s Swann Auction Galleries, will conduct the evening’s live auction. CHEFS MARIANNE CUNEO-POWELL AND ANNA RAMOS
Chef Marianne Cuneo-Powell, who previously owned A Little Café in Voorhees, which closed in February, has teamed up with her sous chef Anna Ramos to open El Mariachi San Lucas Mexican Cuisine, at 118 White Horse Road, Voorhees (856-784-3800); BYO.

EXECUTIVE CHEF RYAN MICHAEL BARNHARD

Executive chef Ryan Michael Barnhard has opened Shore Points Coastal BBQ, 816 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach (732-899-7427). He was previously executive chef at Taylors Dockside Grille in Point Pleasant from 2008-2011 and at Ryan Michaels Riverfront Grille in Brick from 2011-2014. The sous chef is Paul Florio.

ANDRE de WAAL

Andre de Waal will be closing Andre’s Restaurant at 188 Spring St in Newton (973-300-4192), on April 19 and plans on opening “dre’s” at the same location on May 9. There will be a new casual menu and redecorated space. Andre’s will be moving to a new location.
