NEW CHEF DE CUISINE AT MARITIME PARC
Mark Flemmig is the new chef de cuisine at Maritime Parc, 84 Audrey Zapp Drive, Liberty State Park, Jersey City (201-413-0050). He was previously chef de cuisine at Yonkers Raceway and before that executive banquet chef for the Glazier Group.

EXECUTIVE CHEF JOSH THOMSEN ANNOUNCES NEW AFTERNOON MENU
Executive chef Josh Thomsen of Agricola, 11 Witherspoon St, Princeton (609-921-2798), has announced that the restaurant will offer a more extensive afternoon menu from 2:30 PM until dinner. Menu items include: carrot soup; hand-cut fries with beet ketchup; salad; cheese board, pickled and fermented vegetable plate; beef burger, Shibumi Farm’s mushroom, butternut squash, or chorizo flatbread; cooker plate, ice cream & sorbet, citrus cheesecake; and chocolate hazelnut Linzer torte.

ANTHONY DAVID’S, HOBOKEN
Anthony Pino, chef/owner of Anthony David’s, 953 Bloomfield St, Hoboken (201-222-8399) has announced that he is now open for dinner on Mondays beginning at 5 PM. If you are hungry before 5 PM, merenda, a leisurely, late-afternoon snack with a selection of artisan cheeses, market vegetables and cured meats is offered weekdays from 3 to 5 PM; BYO. A private dining room with a handmade communal table is also available  for up to 18 guests. Chef Pino will design a special menu for you. Pino’s Chef’s Counter is available for parties of up to 10 guests.

ALCHEMIST & BARRISTER, PRINCETON CELEBRATING 40 YEARS
To mark the 40th anniversary of The Alchemist & Barrister, 28 Witherspoon St, Princeton (609-924-5555), chef/owner Arthur Kukoda will be renovating and expanding his restaurant with new exteriors and a second bar. One of the dining rooms will be expanded 15 feet to make room for the second bar that will include a stage to accommodate musicians who play regularly at The A&B. The number of bar taps will be increased to 50. Some items on the dinner menu include: crispy shrimp tacos, chicken wings, salads, vegan’s Shepherds pie, roasted chicken, tangerine, Guiness-braised short ribs, and burgers. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily and there is a late night menu. The restaurant will stay open during this process.
