CRAFT BEER TASTING
The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, One East Franklin Turnpike, in Ho-Ho-Kus, (201-445-4115) will host a Craft Beer Tasting with bar bites Featured beers include: Speakeasy Prohibition 6.1% Amber Ale; Cricket Hill Colonel Blide’s Cask Ale; Hebrew Messiah Nut Brown Ale and Erie Rail Bender 6.8% Scottish Ale. PATRON TEQUILA DINNER

Chef/owner Mark Smith of Tortilla Press Cantina, 7716 Maple Ave, Merchantville, is throwing a special, reservation-only Patron Tequila Dinner from 7 to 9 PM; $50. Patron representatives will be on hand to talk about the manufacture and history of tequila in Mexico. Guests will be offered gift bags, recipes and tasting notes on the varying kinds of tequila being consumed that evening. Reservations: 856-356-2050.

EVENING OF WINE AND ROSES

World-renowned celebrity chef, author and television star Mario Batali will appear as the featured guest at this year’s “An Evening of Wine and Roses,” the annual fundraiser benefiting Newton Medical Center, at Centenary College’s David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Ave, Hackettstown. Chef Batali will meet with guests at 5:30 PM in a special VIP-room appearance. 5:30 to 9:30 PM, $125; VIP tickets to meet Mario Batali can be purchased for $225 each or $375 per couple. CRAWFISH FEST IN AUGUSTA

Michael Arnone’s Twenty-fifth annual Crawfish Fest will be held at Sussex County Fairgrounds, 37 Plains Road, Augusta with food, music and camping. Some items that will be available for $10 or less are boiled crawfish, crawfish etouffee, crawfish bread, jambalaya, po-boys, grilled alligator sausage and more.
