Rosie has the latest news about chefs, what they have been doing and where they are going. Today, read about a Tastes of the Sea dinner that chef/owner Nicholas Harary and chef Nicholas Wilkins, from Restaurant Nicholas in Middletown, will be presenting. Chef/owner Nicholas Harary and chef de cuisine Nicholas Wilkins from Restaurant Nicholas, 160 Route 35 S, Middletown will present a six-course Tastes of the Sea dinner on August 27. The following menu will be presented:

Chef Matt Grote, a graduate of Johnson & Wales is the chef/owner of Velo Eatery, offering contemporary American food. 1616 Rt 9, Toms River (732-569-6153); BYO.

JUAN SANTAMARIA

Juan Santamaria, is the chef at Momma’s Kitchen, a casual Italian restaurant, which has opened at 15 West Grand Ave, Montvale (201-746-9777); BYO. He was previously the chef at 15 Grand, Montvale, which was in the same space as Momma’s Kitchen.
