Rosie dishes about delectable things to do, including the 21st-anniversary promotion at Grissini in Englewood Cliffs and the Collingswood Pop-Up Gala.

GRISSINI, ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS DINING DEAL
From August 25 to 29, in honor of their 21st anniversary, Grissini Ristorante, 484 Sylvan Ave, Englewood Cliffs (201-568-3535), will take 21 percent off patrons’ bills. Alcohol and other beverages not included. "This is my way of thanking guests, our neighbors and the community for 21 great years," says proprietor Tony Del Gatto with pleasure. "Since we opened in 1993, our priority has—and always will be—providing great customer service from the moment you walk in the door. We could not have been here for 21 years without everyone’s support."

The 21 percent discount may be applied to the entire menu, including Grissini’s signature dishes, such as the Ravioli d’Aragosta (hand-crafted ravioli filled with lobster in a light brandy and paprika tarragon cream sauce), Dentice in Crosta di Rafano e Papvero (horseradish and poppyseed crusted snapper) or the hugely popular 16-ounce grilled sirloin steak.

COLLINGSWOOD POP-UP GALA

On Saturday, September 6, you can go to dinner in Collingswood but do not ask where the dinner is being held and you must wear white. This is how it works: Just before 7 PM on the night of the event, organizers will lead guests to a top-secret spot, where hundreds of diners will converge to enjoy a giant, elegant, pop-up dinner with music and festivities. Guests bring tables, chairs, flatware, food and drink—and leave with it all at the end of the night. Ticketing information and rules can be found here.
