SUNDAY SIPS AT THE STRIP HOUSE, LIVINGSTON
Strip House 550 W Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston (973-548-0050) has wine specials on Sundays.Guests are invited to sample two highlighted wines for special tastings. Choose from a 3-ounce pour or purchase the bottle at a fraction of the list price. A Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet, for example, may be sampled for $12 or enjoyed for the Sunday price of $130 (listed for $195). Additionally, weekday Happy Hour includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres from 4 to 6 PM.

JERSEY SHORE WINE WEEKEND
Jersey Shore Wine Weekend will be held February 27 to March 1, 2015 at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa, 1 Ocean Boulevard, Long Branch. Plans are for a Bordeaux Wine Dinner hosted by Brian Hider, sommelier at the Pluckemin Inn in Bedminster, as well as tastings, a luncheon, cooking demonstration and The Grand Tasting event. CRAFT BEER TASTING
Ho-Ho-Kus Inn, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, will host a Craft Beer Tasting featuring locally produced brews from the New Jersey Beer Company. Highly ranked LBIPA (Beer Advocate magazine), Garden State Stout, 1787 Abbey Single Ale and Hudson Pale Ale will be served and bar bites are included. 6:30 PM; $20 exclusive of tax and gratuity.
