Foodie & Wine Lovers Alert! Holloran Vineyard, which produces small quantities of handcrafted wines from Oregon's Willamette Valley, will be poured at a wine dinner at Agricola, Princeton, a true farm-to-table restaurant that was listed as one of the best restaurants in 2013 and 2014 by New Jersey Monthly.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20 TO SUNDAY, MARCH 22

The New Jersey Wine & Food Festival will take place March 20 to 22 at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg with guest of honor David Kinch of the Michelin 2-starred Manresa in Los Gatos, California. Kinch is a James Beard award-winning chef and recently published his first cookbook, Manresa: An Edible Reflection. At Restaurant Latour on Friday, March 20, chef Kinch will participate in a dinner with executive chef Anthony Bucco and winemaker Jen Beloz of The Prisoner Wine Company. On Saturday, March 21, chef Kinch will host a book signing and be featured in the VIP section of The Grand Tasting, which features 30 restaurants and over 100 wines. An after party with chefs and winemakers will follow. The Festival’s featured wine producer is Larry Stone, estates director of Quintessa and Huneeus Vintners. Proceeds from the Festival will benefit the James Beard Foundation. Tickets and information are available at the event website.

CHEF’S COUNTER TASTING AT ANTHONY DAVID’S, HOBOKEN
On Monday evenings through May 4, Anthony Pino, chef/owner of Anthony David’s at 953 Bloomfield St, Hoboken, and chef de cuisine Justin Antiorio, will create  Chef’s Counter Tastings (there are 10 seats), where they will prepare and serve a five-course meal. MAC N’ CHEESE MARCH MADNESS
Throughout March, the Liberty House, Liberty State Park, 78 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City (201-395-0300), and The Stone House at Stirling Ridge, 50 Stirling Ave, Warren (908-754-1222), will offer a different mac ‘n’ cheese daily. Offerings include: Maytag blue cheese, smoked bacon and wild mushrooms; roasted chicken, Kalamata olives, roasted peppers and feta; and classic Mac topped with chili con carne.

ATLANTIC CITY RESTAURANT WEEK

Eighty restaurants will be participating in Atlantic City Restaurant Week by offering a three-course lunch for $15.15, and a three-course dinner for $33.15. Information at the event website.

SPAIN UNCORKED
George Staikos, a wine educator, sommelier, and corporate speaker, will teach a Spain Uncorked class at 55 Main Restaurant, 55 Main St, Flemington; 7 to 9 PM: $80. LOCAL CHEESE TASTING
Three cheeses will be highlighted at a Local Cheese tasting that will be held at Brick Farm Market, 65 East Broad St, Hopewell. SCOTCH TASTING AT THE BERNARDS INN

Scotch lovers will have the opportunity to sample six premium Scotch whiskies, meet other whisky lovers, and learn more about the distinct flavors of this spirit at a scotch tasting at the Bernards Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville. THE GRAPE DEBATE

A charity event, The Grape Debate, will be held at Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Road, Basking Ridge to benefit The Our House Foundation (an organization that provides financial support to provide housing, employment, and other social services to individuals with developmental disabilities).
