CHEF BILL ZUCOSKY, STRIP HOUSE, LIVINGSTON
Chef Bill Zucosky of the Strip House Restaurant, 550 W Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston (973-548-0050) has a new revamped lunch menu. Being highlighted are Surf & Turf tacos containing New York strip with pico de gallo and grilled shrimp with spicy slaw. Other new options are eggs in a pan, with fingerling potatoes, bacon and onion hash and French dip (a Zucosky fave), made with warm roast beef, Gruyère, fried onion, horseradish aioli and beef jus. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, noon to 2:30 PM.

CHEF CHRIS BRYAN

Chef Chris Bryan of Liberty Hall Pizza, 243 N Union St, Lambertville (609-397-8400) has launched a “Guest Pizzaiolo” series, where area chefs take over the pizza oven for a night and introduce one-of-a-kind specialty pizzas. The series will take place every other Tuesday.

Upcoming events include chefs Ian Knauer and Shelley Wiseman of The Farm Cooking School in Stockton on Tuesday, March 10, followed by chef Max Hansen of Max Hansen Caterer and Max Hansen Carversville (PA) Grocery on Tuesday, March 24.

Liberty Hall Pizza opened in December 2014 and serves authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, salads and draught root beer floats, Tuesdays through Sundays for dinner only; BYO.

GREGORY TORRECH
Gregory Torrech, owner/chef of Union Republic, Jersey City, is the new executive chef at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus (201-445-4115). Chef de cuisine Ryan Ahern has been promoted to head chef at Union Republic.
