The Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to host the 10th Annual Rock ‘n Ride Bike Tour. A leisurely day is planned for fun in the sun, with music, prizes and refreshments for families and friends. Riders can cruise a 10-mile course (beginning at 9:30 a.m.) or peddle the 40-mile trek (beginning at 9:00 a.m.) stretching the length of the island. The tour will take you through some of Long Beach Island’s historic parks, beautiful communities and scenic areas.
Friends, co-workers, neighbors and employers support riders by pledging money. Prizes will be awarded for the biker’s who collect the highest amount of pledges. Pre-registration is $15 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under). An additional $5 fee applies to those individuals who register the day of the event. Riders are required to provide their own helmet.
