Paint the Town Pink is a week-long event that involves the entire Red Bank community, all in an effort to increase awareness of breast cancer prevention, education, and treatment options. The town is transformed with pink décor, and more than 100 Red Bank businesses participate with pink sales, pink menu specials, and creative “pink” ideas that show their support for the initiative. Special activities will take place throughout the week, and a very special mother-daughter event will wrap things up on Saturday, May 10. Proceeds benefit the Women’s Center at Riverview Medical Center and will be used to provide free mammograms to women who would otherwise not have the resources for this very important – and potentially life saving – screening test.
