The ShowRoom, Asbury Park’s independent cinema and multi-purpose venue, will screen the 2007 film “Big Man Japan” from Wednesday, July 1 through Sunday, July 5. Hard to find outside of major metropolitan areas, the film is the latest in a genre that combines documentary aesthetics with fictional content. Nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 2008 Asian Film Awards, The ShowRoom provides an intimate venue where the audience can see a hard-to-come-by film in Asbury Park’s eclectic downtown.
