Shopping hours on Friday, May 9 are 9-6; Saturday, May 10 from 9-1.
From Friday, May 9 through Saturday, May 10 the Junior League of Montclair-Newark (JLMN) will host a two-day shopping boutique. Proceeds raised through this event will support local community projects focusing on children at risk. The event will be held at The Upper Montclair Women's Club at 200 Cooper Avenue in Montclair. There will be a French Market Preview Shopping Party on Thursday May 8, from 6:30 to 10 pm; $50 tickets include champagne, appetizers and French beer.Shopping hours are from 9-6 on May 9 and 9-1 on May 10. The boutique will feature over 20 vendors offering fresh and unique merchandise for the spring season, including Mother's Day gifts. Vendors include Reilly & Me, a jewelry designer; Lotus Jayne, a Cambodian Free Trade Company that sells hand woven silk scarves and purses; and My Little Pumpkin, which carries baby and children's clothes and gifts, There will also be plenty of opportunity to bargain at the Attic Treasures Flea Market. Tickets for the shopping days are $5 in advance, $8 at the door. Seniors and students with id pay $3.
