All readings of featured poets begin at 8:00 pm. These readings are free and everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served and are generously furnished courtesy of Wegmans Food Market in Woodbridge.In addition, PoetsWednesday will be offering Poetry Workshops at 7:00-8:00pm, to be followed by the scheduled PoetsWednesday readings. A nominal fee will be charged for this workshop. All forms of poetry and all levels of skill are welcome. Laurie Granieri & Tammy Paolino are the August featured readers.Laurie Granieri is a reporter and columnist at the Home News Tribune and Courier News in New Jersey. Her nonfiction work has appeared on National Public Radio. She recently completed a writing residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vt. Tammy Paolino is an award-winning poet and newspaper journalist. Her poems have won commendations from Gerald Stern (Mad Poet's Society) and the College of New Jersey's annual Writer's Conference. Her work has appeared in Mad Poets Review, Edison Literary Review and Paterson Literary Review, for which it was selected for two Allen Ginsberg honors. Tammy is Features Editor of the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill and teaches poetry workshops primarily through state and local Teen Arts festivals.
