Autumn Spring Film Screening

Autumn Spring (Babi leto) (2001), directed by Vladimír Michálek, will be the third offering of the 2009 West Windsor Film Series entitled, "The Human Comedy", jointly presented by the West Windsor Arts Council and the Friends of the West Windsor Library. This superbly crafted Czech film on living, laughing and aging, features a memorable last performance by actor Vlastimil Brodsky.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Irena Kovarova, an independent film programmer and Czech Film Center representative in North America. Refreshments follow screening and discussion. Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the community room of the West Windsor branch of the Mercer County Library, 333 North Post Road, West Windsor. 7:30 PM. Due to limited seating, early arrival is recommended. There is a suggested donation of $5 to help offset the fees for the speaker and the refreshments being served.
