Anyone Can Nominate a Worthy New Jersey Company!

New Jersey Monthly is now accepting nominations for our fourth annual Great Oak Awards program. It’s the ultimate way to honor New Jersey-based companies for their locally targeted philanthropy. Nomination deadline is January 13, 2017. Read about the 2016 honorees here.

NOMINATIONS
Help us recognize the state’s most generous for-profit companies. It’s easy to fill out a nomination form!

•    You are invited to nominate any New Jersey company that does exemplary philanthropic work within the state. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the form below.
•    If you are a professional in the not-for-profit community, you probably have a special awareness of companies that are committed to local or statewide charitable institutions and social causes.
•    If you work for a Garden State company worthy of recognition, feel free to complete the Great Oak Awards nomination form below. (It’s okay to blow your own horn.)

ELIGIBILITY
New Jersey-based, for-profit companies of all sizes are eligible, from small local firms to the New Jersey headquarters of national and international firms. We’re looking for companies that contribute to the New Jersey community in a variety of ways, such as encouraging employee volunteerism, donating cash as well as in-kind goods and services, and sponsoring innovative fund-raising events.

Nomination deadline is January 13, 2017. Eligible nominated firms will be asked to submit information about their charitable activities that specifically benefit New Jersey communities or individuals. NOTE: Past Great Oak Award honorees are not eligible this year. However, if you nominated a company last year that did not win, we encourage you to nominate that organization again.

A panel of expert judges will choose up to 10 honorees in several tiers based on company size. All finalists will be saluted in a future issue of New Jersey Monthly. Winners will be announced on our website in September 2017. It is our privilege to acknowledge the generosity of the Garden State’s most civic-minded companies. Please join us by submitting one or more nominations today.
