Hours: Mon–Thurs, 11 am to 10pm. Fri–Sat, 11 am to 11 pm; Sun, 12 pm to 10 pm.

Price: $

Style: Quaint and bright, expanded small neighborhood pizzeria with lots of stone, tile, and faux finishes.

Don’t Miss: The Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks ($7), large enough for two, are overflowing with sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms, and melted cheese. The tangy tomato bruschetta ($3.50) is piled high on a platter of crispy slices of Italian bread. The pasta with meat sauce is the ultimate in comfort food ($9.95) with a thick, meaty gravy ladled heavily over your choice of seven different pastas. The individual pizza ($7.50) has a thin, crispy crust and can easily be shared. For dessert they have a great little gelato station with a choice of four daily flavors.

Heads Up: This little café is way off the beaten path but certainly worth visiting. It’s nestled in a quaint historic railroad town that resembles Mayberry. Go on Sunday in the warmer months when the Neshanic Flea Market is open, and it’s just a short stroll away.

The Scoop: La Strada Café has a new outdoor patio just outside the French doors in the dining room. It’s a BYOB.
