Artazu Bakery Cafe, Montclair

The newest spot by the owners of the popular Argentine/Uruguayan cafe Rombiolo in Bloomfield, this bakery/café is right near the Watchung train station—perfect for commuters. Enjoy their pastries with dulce de leche, desserts, cakes and empanadas.
6 Depot Square

Ugly Dumpling, Morris Plains

The chain inspired by the flavors of Shanghai street food is opening a new spot at Briarcliff Commons in Morris Plains. It serves soup dumplings as well as wontons, noodles and more. There are also locations in Edison and Holmdel.

Olive Tree, Cresskill

This new spot offers Mediterranean cuisine, including salads, calamari, hummus, kebabs and kofte. Online ordering is available.

Closing

Perkins, Forked River

The restaurant reportedly shut down on October 2. There was no reason posted as to why it closed.

Mister C’s Beach Bistro, Allenhurst

This popular beachfront restaurant is shuttering. Its last day will be Sunday, October 20. The owners said they always planned to close the spot when the building’s lease came to an end.
