B2 Bistro + Bar, Bayville
With four other locations in New Jersey, B2 Bistro has plans to expand to Barnegat Bay. The restaurant group purchased what was previously Martell’s Water Edge and will open its fifth Garden State location this April. The space will include two outside decks with open-air dining, multiple full-service bars, a tiki bar, banquet rooms for special events, and more. Guests can expect the same B2 menu, including burgers, steaks, fresh seafood and craft cocktails.

Bojangles, Multiple Locations
This popular Southern Fried Chicken chain has announced plans to open 10 restaurants in New Jersey. The franchise development includes locations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex and Union counties. Since 1977, Bojangles has been serving fried chicken, biscuits, tea, sandwiches and more. Opening dates and locations will be announced in the future.
Lucciano’s (American Dream Mall), East Rutherford
A brand new gelato shop has opened in New Jersey’s largest mall, which made New Jersey Monthly‘s 52 Things You Must Do in New Jersey list earlier this year. Lucciano’s I’ll Maestro del Gelato serves fresh, artisanal gelato made with natural ingredients. Flavors include Cherry Vanilla, Banana Split, Passion Fruit and many more. Located on level one of the Parks Court in the American Dream Mall. Opens daily at 11 am and 12 pm on Sundays.

The French Market, Colts Neck
This Rumson-based gourmet café opened its second NJ location last month. Both locations include an identical French-inspired menu, complete with sweet and savory crepes, craft sandwiches, grain bowls, salads and more. Open Tuesday-Sunday and closed Monday.

Martini’s On Broadway, Pitman
Named after the neighborhood restaurant and bar in It’s a Wonderful Life, this new eatery opened last month in the heart of Pitman. The menu features small plates (buttermilk calamari, Asian duck meatballs), entrees (crispy honey chicken, seafood risotto), flatbreads (goat cheese and prosciutto, caprese) and more. A martini and cocktail menu is also available. Open 4-11 pm Thursday-Saturday and 12-8 pm on Sunday.
