Want to sample local beers in the “wild?” Looking to tune up that spooky mood pre-Halloween? Then you’re in luck with this week’s batch of food and drink events in New Jersey.

Turtle Back on Tap (West Orange)

Sip dozens of seasonal brews at this Essex County mainstay at the Turtle Back Zoo. Guests can find brews local and around the world while enjoying the scenery and animals. Wine and spirit tastings are available along with food vendors. All funds raised will support the Essex County Parks Foundation.

Comedy & Cocktails (Egg Harbor Twp.)

Combine belly laughs with belly-pleasing food and drink. Headliner Robbin Fox and other local comedians will entertain while you enjoy a fall harvest buffet. Dinner includes pork loin, flounder, chicken, pasta and more.

ManiFEST Vendor Fair (Ringwood)

Enjoy a weekend of artisans, food trucks, games and more at this “Season of the Witch”-themed fair. Tune up your spooky mood right before Halloween with costume contests and tarot card readings. Vendors will include Suryasol Creations (jewelry, home decor and more) and food from Sandwich Freak (fat heroes) and Pierogies and Things in addition to hot apple cider and baked goods.

Harvest Festival (Cherry Hill)

Celebrate autumn in an event sponsored by the local police and fire departments. The day will include pumpkin picking and painting, a pumpkin carving contest, a petting zoo, pony rides, live music and more. Forgotten Boardwalk Brewery will have a beer tent; food trucks will attend as well.
