A new fast-casual hot dog shop in the heart of downtown Haddonfield serves organic 100 percent grass-fed beef and vegan dogs. Fun flavors include the Ends of the Earth Dawg (with tapenade, charcuterie and mozzarella pearls) and the Brooklyn Dawg (with a dill pickle spear and horseradish ranch sauce). Hot Dawgs is hosting its ribbon-cutting ceremony this Saturday, March 9, at noon during Haddonfield Restaurant Week.

Al Dente Fresh Pasta Co., Westwood
Fresh pasta is made in-house at this casual Italian eatery. Specialties include spicy shrimp spaghetti and angel hair pasta with Italian sausage, broccoli rabe, garlic and oil. There’s also a create-your-own pasta bar—choose from one of six pasta shapes, a sauce, a protein, and additions like vegetables and cheese. Salads, appetizers and cannolis round out the menu.

Psycho Mike’s, Hoboken
A new bar has arrived in the heart of Hoboken, just in time for a weekend of St. Patrick’s Day bar crawls. Psycho Mike’s Therapy Bar and Grill is a sports bar with TV- and football helmet-lined walls, weekly happy hours and, of course, plenty of booze.

Raising Cane’s, Cherry Hill
The popular chicken-finger chain continues to pop up across South Jersey. The Cherry Hill location, with two drive-thru lanes as well as indoor dining, celebrated its grand opening this Tuesday. The fast-food hotspot specializes in box combos, comprised of chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, a fountain beverage and the famous Cane’s sauce. The final Jersey Raising Cane’s (for now!) is set to open in Deptford next month.

Closing
Diamond Diner, Hainesport
The Diamond Diner, beloved for decades, has been run by the Diamantis family since 1967, when it originally opened in Cherry Hill. A sign was posted on the diner’s front door last week stating that the establishment would be closing this past Sunday. New management will be taking over, and renovations will take around two months.
City of Saints Coffee Roasters, Hoboken
After 11 years in operation, this cherished coffee shop served its final cup on February 29, when it confirmed to The Hoboken Girl that it would not be renewing its lease. The coffee shop’s team commented on The Hoboken Girl’s Instagram post about the closure, expressing gratitude to customers and sharing their plan to continue selling their coffee to cafes, restaurants and customers nationwide via their website.
