In Jersey City, chefs fired the stoves of the brand-new incarnation of one of North Jersey’s most popular restaurants, Ani Ramen House. Unlike the Montclair original (a BYO), in JC mixologists were busy shaking up cocktails
Chef-partner Julian Valencia will head the chef crew at the new Ani Ramen (218 Newark Avenue, Jersey City). He will be assisted by chef Chris Arturo in the kitchen, and supported by a bar staff making and serving cocktails developed by mixologist Kenta Goto. The latest Ani Ramen will offer the signature ramen dishes of the original restaurant in Montclair, as well as its own nightly specials.
The newcomer has a liquor license and a sizable bar to put cocktails in the spotlight. Goto, known as a chef-style mixologist, has crafted Ani’s house cocktails, including the Shiso Cucumber Sour and the Matcha Milk Punch.
