Allegory (The MC Hotel), Montclair

Executive Chef Joe Tartamella is preparing a four-course prix fixe that includes butternut squash soup, autumn kale salad, ricotta ravioli with brown butter sage, crispy skin salmon, warm apple pie, flourless chocolate cake, and more. There will be two seatings at 2 and 5 pm, and reservations are suggested. Adults $75, children $50.

B2 Bistro, Red Bank

Takeout options include turkey, mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, roasted squash, spiced cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Orders can serve 4-6 guests ($350) or 8-10 guests ($450). Orders must be placed by November 17; pickup on November 23. Re-heating and serving instructions included.

B2 Bistro, North Brunswick

This B2 location also offers Thanksgiving takeout. Servings for 4-5 people come with 10 pounds of turkey ($170), while servings for 8-10 people come with 20 pounds ($270). All orders include macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, roasted French beans, apple-cider glazed carrots, and more. Orders must be placed by November 18 and can be picked up November 23.

Benares, Wyckoff

Looking for vegan or vegetarian options? Benares offers dishes like Mitch Ka Salan (baby eggplant with coconut, peanut and curry leaves, $16), Dal (lentils with spices, $16), Soy Tikka Masala (grilled soy with plum tomato sauce, $18) and more. Benares is open on Thanksgiving for takeout and dine-in.

Blu Grotto, Oceanport

Just heat and serve Blu Grotto’s luxurious package, which includes turkey breast, whipped sweet potatoes, maple-glazed bacon Brussels sprouts, stuffing, pumpkin or apple pie, and bourbon maple whipped cream. Packages serve 8-10 people ($290), 12-16 people ($425) or 18-20 people ($520). Orders must be placed by November 18 and can be picked up on November 23 or before noon on Thanksgiving Day.

Blue Morel, Morristown

Executive Chef Bryan Gregg introduced a new fall menu last month and is hosting a Thanksgiving buffet this year. The buffet features roast turkey, pig, a raw bar, salads, dessert, and more. Reservations are highly recommended and available between 12 and 8 pm. Buffet $89 per adult, $29 for children under 12.

Brasserie Mémére, Closter

This new three-course holiday menu includes escargot in garlic herb butter, butternut squash soup, roast turkey (with mashed potato and cranberry), beef tenderloin, pumpkin spice créme brûlée, and more. The meal is $68 per person; the restaurant is opening from 12-8 pm.

Café Chameleon, Bloomingdale

The catering menu here includes roast turkey, sweet potato casserole, chestnut stuffing, cranberry chutney, and more. Orders can feed 4-6 people ($225) or 8-10 people ($325). Dessert, including apple and pumpkin pie, can be added for $20. Orders must be placed by November 15 and picked up from 11 am-2 pm Thanksgiving Day.

This boutique bakery is offering themed cupcakes designed to look like your favorite Thanksgiving dishes, including stuffing, turkey legs, pumpkin pie and more. The bakery is also offering mini pies, cakes and other delicious desserts. The Englewood storefront is offering pre-order for Thanksgiving treats; the kiosk at the Garden State Mall will have all items available.

Choc-O-Pain, Hoboken & Jersey City

The new location in Jersey City has opened just in time for Thanksgiving. Choc-O-Pain’s special tarts include pumpkin, apple, pear spiced almond cream, vegan chocolate ganache, cranberry pistachio, and pecan. All orders must be placed by 7 pm on November 21.

Corinne’s Place, Camden

Named an American Classic by the James Beard Foundation, Corinne’s Place is beloved for its soul food. Thanksgiving takeout includes a whole roast turkey, three sides, cornbread, and sweet potato pie. Platters are sold by size for $189 or $289. Additional meat, including chicken, beef ribs, pork ribs, turkey wings and meatloaf, can be added for $75. Orders must be placed by November 17.

Crystal Springs Resort, Hamburg

This resort is hosting multiple Thanksgiving feasts. The Emerald Ballroom ($72 pp), Diamond Ballroom ($68 pp) and Black Bear Golf Club ($52 pp) are serving a buffet of seafood, other hot options, and dessert. Crystal Tavern ($72 pp) and Springs Bistro ($65 pp) offer a three-course Thanksgiving dinner, with Springs offering a wine pairing ($100 pp). Kites Restaurant ($55 pp), meanwhile, offers a three-course meal with soup, salad, turkey and dessert. Wine director Susanne Wagner is hosting tastings in the Wine Cellar, suggesting pairings with classic dishes. Reservations suggested.

Chef David Burke Thanksgiving

Drifthouse (Sea Bright) is serving Thanksgiving meals from 12-8 pm, in addition to offering a $300, 8-10 person meal to-go. Red Horse (Rumson) is offering a Thanksgiving menu for dine-in from 12-8 pm for $95 per adult. The Goat (Union Beach) is also hosting Thanksgiving dinner from 12-8 pm for $58 per adult. Reservations suggested.

DineDK Private Dining, New Jersey

Enjoy Thanksgiving to-go from Chef David Kirschner, for pick-up or delivery. The menu includes options such as potato cheddar gratin, slow-baked salmon, organic turkey, string bean casserole, goat cheesecake, pecan pie, and more. The total is $215 and serves 3-4 people; other sides and mains can be added for an additional price. All orders come with reheating instructions and must be placed by November 18.

Elements, Princeton

Thanksgiving at one of New Jersey Monthly’s best restaurants includes whole roast turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, squash pie, whipped sweet potatoes, and more. Add-ons, including marinated shrimp, baked brie, and other appetizers and sides are available. The restaurant is also offering cocktails to-go. Orders must be placed by November 17 and can be picked up on November 23 or 24. Dinner packages serve 2-4 people ($249) or 6-8 ($499).

Faubourg, Montclair

In addition to dine-in Thanksgiving dinner from 12-8 pm, Faubourg’s family-style Thanksgiving dinner package is available for pick-up. It includes butternut squash soup, roast turkey with stuffing, fall vegetables, and more. Other items, such as shrimp cocktail, chicken pot pie, and roasted salmon are available a la carte. The package can feed 3-4 people ($225) or 6-8 ($425). Orders must be submitted by November 18 and can be picked up on November 23 or 24.

The Fox & Falcon, South Orange

You take care of the turkey, and The Fox & Falcon takes care of the rest. This year, the restaurant is offering pies and sides for takeout. The menu includes mashed potatoes, corn pudding, vegetarian stuffing, buttered green beans, gravy, cranberry chutney, pumpkin and apple pies. Pies are $35 each and $140 for all sides. Orders must be placed by 2 pm on November 20 and can be picked up between 11 am and 3 pm by November 23. Reheating instructions are provided.

Enjoy a complete Thanksgiving meal at home from Chef Louis Bayla at Grain & Cane. For $170, the package feeds 6-8 people and includes turkey breast, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, sweet potato casserole, and roasted butternut squash. Other a la carte items such as pumpkin cheesecake, upside-down apple cake and additional sides and mains are also available. The takeout menu ($225, serves 4-6 people) includes squash soup, beet salad, turkey breast, fall vegetables, and pies. Must be ordered by November 18. Reservations can be made online and the dinner is $68 per person.

A traditional Thanksgiving buffet is happening from 12-6 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
