A Night for Ecuador Earthquake Relief Fundraiser

The event will be held at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange to benefit the Ecuadorian Red Cross.

On Thursday, May 26, A Night For Ecuador will be held at the Pleasantdale Chateau, 757 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, to benefit the Ecuadorian Red Cross. On Tuesday, May 24, a Memorial Day Picnic secrets cooking class will feature fall-off-the-bone ribs, chicken with blueberry barbecue sauce, champagne-infused potato salad and flourless chocolate brownies.

On Tuesday, June 7, a farmer’s market cooking class will feature chilled corn chowder, heirloom tomato salad, and pork with peaches and Pommery mustard.

On Thursday, May 19, renowned chef, author, artist and media personality, Jacques Pépin will be the celebrity chef at Newton Medical Center’s “An Evening of Wine and Roses,” the annual fundraiser benefiting the Newton Medical Center Foundation. The event will feature food, wine and liquor and be held at Centenary College’s David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown. At this year’s event, chef Pépin will meet with guests at 5:30 PM in a special VIP area (appearance made possible by RoNetco Supermarkets, Inc., and Wakefern Food Corporation). 5:30 to 9:30 PM; $125; VIP $225.
