Nobu, Atlantic City

The acclaimed sushi restaurant has begun taking reservations at its newest location inside Caesars. Boasting views of the Atlantic, this Nobu location offers such signature dishes as black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura, yellowtail jalapeño and toro tartare. There’s also an extensive list of whiskey, sake and wine. Guests can make reservations online. The restaurant is set to open October 21.

Birdsmouth Beer, Oceanport

Jersey’s newest brewery is located in the renovated Fort Monmouth Commissary. The 2,000-square-foot operation is led by brewer Andy Gioia. Currently it offers four lagers, including Birdsmouth Hoppy Pilsner, Oktoberfest, Dark Lager and Original Lager. Opens Thursday and Friday at 4 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at noon. Brews are available to go and can also be found at local eateries.

Nami Nori, Montclair

With two locations in New York City under its belt, this popular Japanese restaurant has opened its first location in the Garden State. Popular for its temaki sushi (rolled into a cone shape), Nami Nori’s offerings also include spicy crab and crispy calamari. This Jersey location serves dishes that are exclusive to Montclair, including heirloom tomato salad, honey butter corn ribs and braised bamboo shoots. Open for dinner Tuesday–Saturday, 5–9:30 pm. True Food Kitchen, Edison

Edison has become True Food Kitchen’s 43rd location nationwide. The restaurant includes a seasonal menu with sustainable and healthy options, as well as outdoor patios, indoor seating and a to-go section. The menu offers items such as Tuscan kale salad, edamame dumplings, roasted branzino and banana pancakes. For drinks, sip apple lemonade, hibiscus limeade, kale-aid and cocktails. Open Monday–Thursday, 11 am–9 pm; Friday, 11 am–10 pm; Saturday–Sunday, 10 am–9 pm. Lunch, brunch and dinner are also available for takeout.
