There’s a lot happening in Closter right now.
As we anticipate the opening of The Hill from celebrated chef Ben Pollinger in that neck of Bergen County, we mark the birth of two places offering drink from opposite ends of the beverage spectrum.
Gary’s Wine & Marketplace last week opened its fifth New Jersey retail location focusing on fine wines and specialty foods. The address for the new Gary’s is 19 Vervalen Street, in the Closter Plaza, which also houses Whole Foods, Starbucks and Target.

Meanwhile, Super Juice Nation has opened at 127 Vervalen Street in Closter. The juice cafe is open daily for its nonalcoholic specialty beverages. 201-564-7343.
