Maya at Wave Resort, Long Branch

Chef Nina Clemente is bringing fresh Mediterranean flavors to the Long Branch waterfront. The menu ranges from branzino to za’atar lamb chops to seafood towers and more. Locally brewed beers, from Beach Haus Brewing (Belmar), Asbury Brewing and others are available, in addition to house-made cocktails. Open for brunch and dinner.

B Prime, Atlantic City

This steakhouse officially opens in the Borgata on June 23. Steaks are being sourced from New Jersey, Japan, Texas and Idaho, and menu items include steak tartare, wagyu cheesesteak bites, seared crab cakes and more. Specialty cocktails, beer and wine-by-the-glass are being served as well. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, starting at 5 pm.

Urban Tomato, Edgewater

Replacing Mangia in Edgewater, Urban Tomato opened its second Jersey storefront, joining its Palisades Park location. The restaurant offers pizza, salads, sandwiches, pasta and more. Guests can order gluten-free pizza, coffee, espresso drinks, tres leches cake and daily specials.

Cherry On Top, Harrington Park

The seasonal pop-up ice cream shop opened this month and plans to stay open through early Fall. Cherry on Top is a sister to Cork & Crust and Raw Oyster Bar & Italian Kitchen, both in Harrington Park, and is located directly next to Raw Oyster Bar. The shop serves Newark-based Nasto’s “Old World” Premium Ice Cream.
