Restaurant Openings:

Vale Coffee Shoppe, River Vale

Aside from iced and hot coffee drinks, Vale offers matcha, tea and light bites, including croissants (chocolate, almond, raspberry, hazelnut) and Danishes (cinnamon bun, maple pecan, cherry Greek yogurt). Coffee beans and tea leaves are sourced from La Colombe, while baked goods come from local bakeries and businesses.

The Lido, North Arlington

This longtime Hackensack restaurant has opened in North Arlington in what was formerly Centanni. Featuring an award-winning thin-crust pizza, the menu also includes an open-face steak sandwich, burgers, bacon cheese fries, fried calamari and more. Dessert cocktails, such as an Irish coffee and a vanilla White Russian, are offered, as are wine, whiskey, sangria and martinis.

Sam’s Bar & Grill, Ringwood

Following renovations, the former Prime15 has reopened with a new name and menu. Dishes include crispy Brussels sprouts, burrata with cherry tomatoes and pickled red onions, tuna poke salad and firecracker shrimp.

Soulmate Café, Ringwood

Right across from Sam’s Bar & Grill, Soulmate Café offers French pastries, including croissants, tarts, cookies and cakes. There are also sandwiches, waffles, ice cream and milkshakes.
