Russell & Bettes Comes to Rumson

The restaurant formerly know as What's Your Beef will open.

Russell & Bettes, previously known as What’s Your Beef, has opened at 21 West River Road, Rumson serving farm-to-table cuisine (732-842-6205). Menu items include: Coq Au Vin Blanc, Bouillabaisse Bette’s, The Russell & Bette’s Burger made with a blend of ground Kobe brisket and chuck and Lobster Pot Pie. Thursday night is Prime Rib night for $29 and a three-course early Blue Plate special is offered Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 5:45 for $25.

Mimi’s Italian Eatery, at 1871 E Rt 70, Cherry Hill (856-424-3777), has opened featuring pizza and cheese steaks.

Pardis Persian Grill, 47 E Ridgeway Avenue, Ridgewood (201-652-8000); BYO.

Plaza Tikal, a Mexican restaurant has opened at 19 Quimby Lane, Bernardsville (908-367-2003); BYO.

Revolution, A Social Brew House featuring a modern take on traditional German cuisine has opened at 9 South Street, Morristown (973-455-0033).

Rico Taco, a Tex-Mex restaurant has opened at 58 Carr Avenue, Keansburg (732-787-3553). Open daily from 9 AM.

Spice Mantra, offering Indian cuisine, has opened at 6 East Palisade Avenue, Englewood (201-568-1122); BYO. Open daily from 11:30 AM.

Chef Central, Paramus, my favorite kitchen store, will be closing in January.
