Salvario Lavorato Opens Casa Filippo Ristorante Italiano

The restaurant will open at the White Sands in Point Pleasant Beach.

SALVARIO LAVORATO
Salvario Lavorato, who previously owned Casa Filippo in Caldwell, has opened Casa Filippo Ristorante Italiano at the White Sands, 1205 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach (732-903-7448). The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; full bar.

STEVEN BOTTA
Fromagerie, 26 Ridge Road in Rumson (732-852-2650), has been reopened by chef Steven Botta with business partners Paul and Enilda Sansone of Sansone Auto Mall and Angelo Bongiovanni.

MAJ PARVEZ
Maj Parvez, the sous chef for four years at The Peacock Inn, is the new executive chef at The Peacock Inn, 20 Bayard Lane, Princeton (609-924-1707). Previous to The Peacock Inn, chef Parvez worked at SoHo on George in New Brunswick.

CHEF ANTHONY PINO BRINGS PORTER COLLINS TO HOBOKEN THIS FALL
Anthony and Liz Pino owners/founders of Pino Hospitality (Bin 14, Anthony David’s and AD Catering Events) will be opening Porter Collins this fall at 1426 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Porter Collins will offer chef Pino’s menu of inventive American cuisine with old school amenities such as tableside service amidst a modern space featuring two cocktail bars, a raw bar and a secluded private events room.

ANTHONY RUSSO AND DAVE FEEBACK
American Cut Bar & Grill, 495 Sylvan Ave (9W) in Englewood Cliffs, has announced that Anthony Russo has taken over the kitchen as executive chef. He has created a new menu, offering a mix of signature American Cut dishes and a variety of healthy and approachable items, such as fresh salads and seasonal locally sourced fish. The new general manager is Dave Feeback. Chef Marc Forgione, winner of Food Network’s The Next Iron Chef supervises the menu. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily. Reservations preferred and walk-ins welcome. Complimentary valet parking available.

SHERRY YARD
Sherry Yard, a James Beard award winning chef and Food Network personality, who was formerly with Wolfgang Puck for 20 years, has opened City Perch Kitchen + Bar, a seasonal American dining concept at 2030 Hudson Street, Fort Lee (561-886-3232).
