Stefan Sabo, previously executive chef at the Renaissance in Albany, The Mohawk House in Sparta and chef de cuisine at The Bernards Inn, is the new chef at the Inn at Millrace Pond, 313 Hope-Johnsonburg Road, Hope (908-459-4884).
Wally Villanuvea is the new chef at Maxwell’s, 1039 Washington Street, Hoboken (201-798-0406). He has previously worked at the Short Hills Hilton & The Embankment (Jersey City). Menu items include duck confit quesadilla; crispy pork bites; Blue Agave Tequila BBQ pulled pork and hanger steak sandwich.
Jeff Kellish, the former executive chef at Valentino’s, Park Ridge, is the executive chef at 103 Prime at Valentino’s, a modern Italian steakhouse and seafood restaurant at 103 Spring Valley Road, Park Ridge (201-391-2220).
SOFIA, ENGLEWOOD OFFERS PRIX-FIXE MENU
Sofia, 36 Engle Street, Englewood (201-541-8530), is offering a Pre-Theater Prix-Fixe three-course menu, with choices, served between 5 and 6:30PM for $38. Those who are attending the Bergen Performing Arts Center for a show can take advantage of complimentary valet parking, where they are able to leave their cars until the end of the show.
