A Creative Crêperie Comes Ashore On LBI

A new take on the crêpe, plus other restaurant happenings.

Crêpes on LBI, anyone? Vive la difference!

Crêperie de le Mer is settling into Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. Opened just last month, the breakfast and lunch spot from John and Nadia Benchohra Albright is serving crêpes with a seasonal bent in both savory and sweet forms.

Crêpes for main course and crêpes for dessert, in other words.

Coffees, teas and smoothies round out the menu, which is displayed on blackboard in an oh-so-chic Frenchified hand.

The thinking at this point is that the crêperie will stay open year-round. Right now, expect the morning and midday meals to be served daily, except Tuesdays.
