An Agrarian Feast to Keep NJ Growing

Taste of New Jersey Gala:
This Saturday, March 11, the New Jersey Agriculture Society will hold its annual dinner benefit at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake, 334 South Post Road in West Windsor Township. The dinner will feature foods from 25 Garden State farms, fisheries and producers. Red Bank Restaurant Week:
Tonight through March 16, more than 25 restaurants in this Monmouth County town along the Navesink River will participate in a three-course dinner program, with prices from $25 to $35 per person. Details: 732-842-4244 redbank.org

Taste of Montclair:
More than 40 restaurants and food purveyors will be at The Manor, 111 Prospect Avenue in West Orange, to present their best from 5:30 to 9 pm on Monday, March 13. Maple Sugaring Open House:
At Lusscroft Farm in Wantage on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26, the Heritage and Agriculture Association will offer live demonstrations of maple sugaring as well as tours of the farm from 10 am to 3 pm. 50 Neilson Road at the 4-H Trail. 862-262-4732 lusscroftfarm.org

Spring Farm-to-Table Wine Dinner:
A four-course dinner will be held at Blue Morel Restaurant and Wine Bar at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel, 2 Whippany Road in Morristown, at 7 pm, Friday, March 31. Fine wines from France, Italy, California and elsewhere will be paired with a menu created by Blue Morel chef Bobby Varua. Reservations are required by Tuesday, March 28.
