An Evening with Wine Expert Karen MacNeil at Restaurant Latour

Chef Anthony Bucco will host a five-course dinner paired with two wines per course.

On October 10, executive chef Anthony Bucco of Restaurant Latour, Hamburg, will present a five-course dinner paired with two wines per course at “An Evening with Wine Expert Karen MacNeil.” A Champagne reception will be held in the wine cellar at 6 PM followed by dinner at Restaurant Latour. Dishes will include Stracciatella Tortellini with pastured hen egg and black-trumpet mushrooms; vinegar-glazed Squab & Foie Gras; and Colorado 7X Ribeye with turnips and bone marrow; $195 plus tax and tip. Albertino Moriell is the chef/owner of Eatalian Bistro, 90 Park Avenue, Madison (973-845-6070) BYO. Chef Moriello began working in Tommy’s in Elizabeth at the age of 16 and worked his way to becoming the head chef and owner by the age of 18.

AMA RISTORANTE RECEIVES WINE SPECTATOR AWARD

NJRHA ANNUAL AWARDS GALA
The New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association will host their Annual Awards Gala on November 30 at the Stone House in Stirling Ridge, Warren.

This year’s winners are:

The New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association represents 25,000 eating and drinking establishments. The Annual Awards Gala, a black-tie event, was created to honor the winners and celebrate the NJ restaurant and hospitality industries.
