INC American Bar & Kitchen, 302 George Street, New Brunswick, in conjunction with the Frog and the Peach, also of New Brunswick, will host a five-course chicken dinner with beer and whiskey pairings on Thursday, Jan. 26, starting at 6:30 pm. Some 15 restaurants in and around Atlantic City will take part in the Wings War competition Saturday, Jan. 28, from 3 to 7 pm at the Golden Nugget, Huron Avenue at Brigantine Boulevard, Atlantic City. The Speakeasy: The Party of 2017, a highlight of the Montclair Food & Wine Festival, is set for Saturday, Jan. 28, from 7:30 to 10 pm at the Wellmont Theater. The theater, located at 5 Seymour Street, Montclair, will be dressed to the nines to evoke the Prohibition’s Jazz Age. Libations will be curated by Amanti Vino, the popular wine and spirits shop in Montclair, and food will be provided by more than 20 Montclair area restaurants. General admission is $95 per person. VIP tickets, at $185 per person, will offer access to special drinks and food starting at 6:30 pm. Proceeds benefit Intensive Therapeutics and Montclair High School DIGS. Bacon is the headliner at Zeppelin Hall, 88 Liberty View Drive, Jersey City, from Jan. 19 through Feb. 12. Complimentary bacon will be served at the bar from 4 to 7 pm. Bacon dishes, created by chef Franco Robazetti expressly for the bacon blitz, include bacon pot pie, bacon cotton candy and porchetta sandwich.
