Congratulations to the New Jersey chefs, restaurateurs and wine professionals who have made an impressive showing as semi-finalists for this year’s James Beard Foundation Awards.

Best Chef Mid-Atlantic

Maricel Presilla, Cucharamama, Hoboken
Joe Romanowski, Bay Avenue Trattoria, Highlands, NJ

Outstanding Pastry Chef
Marie Jackson, Flaky Tart, Atlantic Highlands, NJ

Outstanding Wine and Spirits Professional
Greg Moore, Moore Brothers Wine Company, Pennsauken
Gary Vaynerchuk, Wine Library TV/Wine Library, Springfield

Finalists will be announced March 22 in Palace Café in New Orleans.

Winners will be announced May 3 at the awards gala and reception in New York City.
