Ibrahim Sanz is the new executive chef of Haven Restaurant and Bar, 2 Main St (for GPS, put 45 River Road), Edgewater Harbor, Edgewater (201-943-1900). He was previously executive chef at Fire and Oak and Nero’s Grill.
KEVIN SBRAGA
Chef Kevin Sbraga, previously executive chef at Rat’s Restaurant in Hamilton, and winner of the seventh season of Bravo’s Top Chef, has opened his third restaurant in Philadelphia. Juniper Commons, a family-friendly American restaurant with a playful nod to the 1980s, is located at 521 S. Broad St, Philadelphia (215-735-1913). Sbraga also owns Sbraga and The Fat Ham in Philly.
DANIEL AND ANTHONY VRGOC
Brothers Daniel and Anthony Vrgoc are the owners/chefs of Harvest Restaurant, featuring local and seasonal cuisine, which has opened at 83 Main St, Farmingdale (732-919-3276); BYO.
