This cajun seafood restaurant and bar has opened a fourth location in the Garden State, bringing its menu to a third spot in South Jersey. Cooking up crab, crawfish, calamari, lobster and more of your favorite seafood dishes, Crab Du Jour’s atmosphere is packed with Southern charm and a housemade cajun seasoning. Open Monday-Saturday 11 am–10 pm and Sundays 11 am—9 pm.

Deal Lake Bar + Co, Loch Arbour 

Originally set to open last spring, Deal Lake Bar + Co had its grand opening in early September. This three bar venue is located right on Deal Lake, with new drink and food specials everyday. Their cocktail list includes the Juicy Lucy (Orange & vanilla vodka, orange juice and coconut cream), the Village Tea (Penelope Bourbon, hibiscus tea, with lemon, honey and sage) and a Spicy Watermelon Margarita (Tequila, Triple Sec, watermelon, lime and agave). Their outdoor patio seats 90 people and creates a spirited and fun environment, with televisions, live music and good food. Open Monday–Friday, 11:30 am–2 am, Saturday–Sunday, 11 am–2 am.

Daisy Organic Bakery, Fair Lawn

This family-owned bakery opened its doors in early September, and offers better-for-you option when it comes to sweets. Daisy Organic Bakery sources ingredients from local organic farms. The menu offers traditional baked goods like coffee cake, eclairs, and danishes, as well as ones with a Mediterranean twist, including home-made pita breads and gata cookies. In addition, this sweet spot serves an array of crepes as well as organic coffee and tea. Currently open daily, Monday–Saturday, 8 am–7 pm; and Sunday, 8 am–5 pm.

Tacoma, Union

Openedat the end of summer, this new features mixes tacos, chicken and seafood to create a wide variety of dishes. The menu consists of tacos options like crisp pork belly, cheesesteak and fried fish. Paired with corn and potatoes, Tacoma’s Seafood Boil Specials are packed with shrimp, crawfish, lobster tail and more. The highlight of the menu is the Tacoma Combos, giving you 3-6 pieces of meat or fish, paired with a side of your choice-including mango quinoa salad, tater tots or grilled corn. Open Monday–Thursday, 11 am–9:30 pm; Friday–Saturday, 11 am–10 pm; and Sundays noon–9 pm.
