Wondee Siam • Hoboken

The popular New York City restaurant expects to open a second location in Jersey City sometime in the near future. The new eatery will take over a vacant spot that previously belonged to Thai restaurant Sawadee, which closed in 2019. Open in NYC for more than 15 years, Wondee Siam serves creative Asian and Thai dishes. The menu includes Pad Woon Sen (a Thai noodle dish), Crispy Pork and Chinese Watercress, BBQ Chicken and Fried Tofu. Perhaps most exciting is the “secret menu,” which is written in Thai and features special dishes not available on the regular menu.

Brunch items range from Breakfast Burritos and Huevos Rancheros to Coconut French Toast. For dessert, there are Zeppoles, Apple Crostata and Chocolate Molten Lava Cake.
